Devlog - 3 [Content Update]


Decided to change the resource of money and gas to ore and component. Ore is used for all upgrades and component is for ... nothing. I want components to be used to buy different type of upgrade than weapon. The abilities don't use gas anymore and are now only on a bigger cool down.


Modified the name of the weapons for something that feels more possible.


Also added a checkbox in the settings popup to mute the weapon sound. After a while, the sound is a bit annoying right now.

* 6 minutes is a pretty long cooldown for the benefit of the speed/money

* I like the exponential notation

* Any way to get a "income/time" calculation?  I spend a lot of time min/maxing what level gets me the fastest income and might be cool to have the calc.

* I thought some of the "crazy" old names were pretty fun.  Magma ball... still great updates!  I keep doing a quick run up to ~30-40 to see what's up.  

I'll try to keep the humor in, wasn't sure if it was a turnoff or if people liked it.

I'm not sure I understand the "income/time" calculation. Is this a per weapon or globally? If there's a global DPS would that help?

Yeah, global DPS would be cool too.  

What I meant was maybe like a 5 second moving average of change in money.  It would be cool to see how much income I'm getting as I upgrade weapsons / change levels.  Just a suggestion, I know still getting alpha stuff going.

I'll see what I can do. I'm thinking of adding critical hit. This gives me an idea of having a page with a bunch of statistics to help.
